We are still able to help you access our services while we work remotely. While the process may look a little different than normal, our staff is dedicated to helping you succeed in your spring classes. Staff is remotely operating on summer business hours of Monday - Thursday 8:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. and Friday 8:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m and can be available on campus by appointment.

TAKE A SINGLE CLASS or TWO
Fill out this registration form Registration-Transcript-Request (Right click and download to your computer). Click the Signature field on the form to create a digital ID. When all red required fields are completed, click the yellow submit button (will open in your email with form attached and email to: email@example.com).

HIGH SCHOOL STUDENTS
Smart Start is a program designed for High School students. It is an opportunity for students to earn college credits while still in high school. Class options exist for summer and fall 2020. Visit https://www.jwcc.edu/admissions/smart-start/getting-started/ to start your college experience while in high school.
NEW STUDENT REGISTRATION
Once a new student is admitted to JWCC, you will receive an email that states your next step is to register. Summer and Fall registration ware open! You can only make an advising/registration appointment if you have officially been admitted to the College. Admitted students can email email@example.com to make an advising appointment.
To file the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA), please visit https://www.jwcc.edu/financial-aid/getting-started/
Summer students will file the 19-20 FAFSA.
Fall students will file the 20-21 FAFSA.
For newly admitted students with a FAFSA on file visit blazernet.jwcc.edu, click on the SOLAR button, and then select Financial Aid to view your eligibility and outstanding items. If you need help with your log in information please call the Help Desk at 217.641.4325.

- We will be checking weekly for document submissions;
- Financial Aid notifications are mailed weekly. Admitted students with Blazernet access should follow directions in letter to view outstanding items via SOLAR and awards.

JWCC is approved as an eligible institution for the instruction of veterans, reservists, and dependents under Title 38 United States Code programs. The Office also provides veterans with directions to make application for state veteran’s benefits for Illinois Veterans Grant, Illinois National Guard Grant, and other resources. Disability Services (DS) provides accommodations and services for qualified students with disabilities at John Wood Community College in accordance with ADA and Section 504 requirements. To receive services, students complete an intake with the DS office and provide documentation of disability. This office can help to provide testing accommodations, assistive technology, alternate format, video captioning, and other services as appropriate.
TRIO STUDENT SUPPORT SERVICES
TRiO SSS is an educational support program funded by the U.S. Department of Education. As a TRiO grant, it provides FREE help to 170 qualifying JWCC students who are first generation college students, meet income guidelines, or who have a disability.
